We place huge importance on being active, nourishing your body with healthy foods, tapping into a deeper connection within, and regular chiropractic care. We seek to educate and empower you through your pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. No matter how you like to get your body moving - whether you are a boxer, yogi, cross fitter, runner, or don’t have a regular workout routine - BIRTHFIT will guide you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum in a new way. BIRTHFIT's Foundational Pillars
Fitness means to functionally train in a way that develops competencies in physical skills and enhance the three main metabolic pathways, so that, we are prepared for the unknown of labor and delivery.
Nutrition to consume a diet that is rich in color and nutrients, from a wide variety of animals, fish, plants, fruits, and fats and starchy tubers.
Chiropractic to be structurally balanced, free of subluxation, so that the nervous system can function ideally and communicate with all systems of the body.
Mindset to be present in the moment, grateful for your life’s experiences, and embrace with a big ‘ole open heart to welcome the transition into motherhood.
a Little About Me
My name is Alexandra Klein, I am a mother to two girls, Crossfit Level 2 Coach, USAW Sports Performance Coach, and the only BIRTHFIT Coach in the Central Coast/Central Valley areas of California. Growing up I was always on the go, playing a variety of sports like volleyball, basketball, track, soccer, softball, and I even did one season of cheerleading. Throughout my athletic career I was never the best by talent but I always challenged the best with my work ethic, determination, and competitive spirit.
As a BIRTHFIT Coach, I pride myself on the guidance I can provide to other women in accordance to their pregnancy goals, postpartum goals, and long term goals. I ask the tough questions, make women think about their desires, and require hard work. Intentional training is my focus.
I enjoy working with women. Whether you are a first time mom, mom of multiples, aspire to become a mother, or you want to connect your mind, body, and soul together; I can be an asset to your lifesytle. Through 1-on-1 personal training sessions and periodic group classes I would love to assist you as you make your way through the motherhood journey.
